|
Just for comparison and your viewing pleasure, here is a picture of the red and fuschia hamsters side by side.
For those of you out there that love to take us to task about minute details, yes, the fuschia and white hamster Japanese eraser is the only hamster that can be classified as both a Series 1 and Series 2 eraser at the same time. |

When A Fuschia Japanese Eraser Is Really A Red Japanese Eraser |
|
Saturday, 31 July 2010 |
|

The first shipments of the Iwako Series 2 Hamsters included fuschia upper body color. Lo and behold, in the last shipment of Hamster Series 2 Japanese erasers, the fuschia color has been changed to red.
When we first received the Iwako Series 2 Hamster Japanese erasers from Iwako USA we were disappointed as the fuschia and white hamster Japanese eraser was already available as a Series 1 Japanese eraser and was nothing special.
Now that problem has been rectified and we have even more colors of hamster Japanese erasers. |

If The Cookie Erasers Were White Chocolate,Would They Smell Like Vanilla? |
|
Tuesday, 27 July 2010 |
|

We find it odd that in the two new 4 Cookie Eraser sets, that they are vanilla scented. The set that contains the rabbit, teddy bear are "chocolate" colored, the set that contains the kitty and pucca erasers are lighter colored, but still looks chocolate too us. Perhaps the factory that made the erasers only had vanilla scent and used that instead of getting chocolate scent |

Under the category of 1 to 40 Erasers we have a set of 4 mushroom erasers that are ours exclusively. Almost all our Japanese and non Japanese erasers come from Iwako USA, but a few of the erasers we import on our own such as the 4 mushroom erasers.

Little Blue Bird of Happiness |

|
Along with the Red, White and Blue Basketball Japanese Eraser and the Pencil Sharpener Japanese Eraser we now have expanded inventory of the Blue Bird Japanese Eraser.
These Japanese erasers are some of the best sellers and we should have enough of these erasers to keep everybody happy.
We wonder though. For example, in the 60 piece Iwako master box that the Pencil Sharpener erasers came in, we only got a handful. As you know, scarcity creates want. Were we always out of stock of the Pencil Sharpener Japanese erasers because we never had enough in the first place, or as in the Blue Bird Japanese erasers, they are popular because they cute, cool or weird?
Now that we have plenty of stock of the Pencil Sharpener Japanese erasers, we will be able to answer that question in a few weeks. |

How Could A Japanese Eraser So Mundane Be So Popular? |

In our ever continuing effort to have inventory of hard to get Japanese erasers, we have added sufficient stock of the pencil sharpener Japanese eraser to keep everybody happy for the near term.

When 12 Red, White and Blue Basketball Erasers Is Not Enough |
|
Wednesday, 14 July 2010 |
|
Because of the way Iwako Japan assorts their 60 piece master boxes, some erasers in those assortments are more popular than others. Because of that, some Japanese erasers like the Red, White and Blue Basketball Japanese eraser are almost always out of stock. A while ago we special ordered a bunch of Japanese erasers that we are always out of and they have arrived. In that shipment, we will receive the basketballs. They will be added to inventory in the next few days.
If you are interested in an Japanese eraser that we are out of stock of, just click on the "Notify Me" button and you will be able to enter your email address. As soon as we add inventory to that out of stock Japanese eraser, you will by automatically sent an email that we have inventory of that Japanese eraser. |

New Color Octopus Japanese Eraser Pair From Dream Zensinsyoji |
|
Thursday, 08 July 2010 |
|
Ah. The joy of new shipments from Dream Zensinsyoji. We know when we get shipments of Japanese erasers made by Iwako Japan, that the colors for, say, the take apart fish erasers, will always be the same from shipment to shipment. Dream Zensinsyoji is much more fun.
We do not know why, but they change colors of their erasers frequently. These color changes are always unannounced unlike the erasers offered at wholesale by Iwako USA. So to our delight, upon opening a box of octopus pair Japanese erasers we found the new color combination of blue and yellow. So they are up on the site, and a pair are stored down in are archive collection at sausalitoferry.com. |
