If We Could Only Get Yoshi As A Japanese Eraser........ |
Tuesday, 06 July 2010 |
I would taking a double look too. Yoshishould be worried. The Iwako Green and White Hamster eraser has the green and white colors of Yoshi, but has it backwards. White head and green belly. It should be the other way around. Iwako hamster erasers should stick to being hamster erasers, not trying to be one of the celebrity characters from the Mario gaming series.

Perhaps one of the extensive eraser blogs is Isumi Erasers Superstore. The site is arranged like a multi floor department store. Each floor contains different departments.
Isumi's site has pictures of much older Iwako, Zensinsyoji and Seed Japanese erasers along with hundreds of assorted types of Chinese made erasers.

Apple Bunny Japanese Erasers With Red and Green Ears |
Tuesday, 06 July 2010 |

The Apple Bunny Japanese erasers by Dream/Zensinsyoji are a good example of traditional Japanese food. An apple is sliced in a way in which the peel looks like rabbit ears. It is a good way for a parent to get a young child to eat the whole apple.
The Apple Bunny Japanese erasers are made by Dream/ Zensinsyoji, and we receive only a few in the master box assortment. As usual, this means we are mostly out of stock of this Japanese food eraser. The apple bunny Japanese eraser also come with a red peel.

New Doughnut Colors But No Pictures. |
Monday, 05 July 2010 |
We receive news from Iwako USA that this coming week of July 5th, we will be receiving new colors of the Iwako doughnut Japanese erasers. The following is from the Iwako USA website. BC is the wholesale division of Iwako USA. We will have the new doughnut Japanese erasers on the site the day we receive them. No.38120 DONUT ERASER NOW IN 6 COLORS, made by Iwako in Japan. No picture yet, new production just completed yesterday, loaded on an airplane, but it went to Germany, then flying to San Francisco, due in SFO airport 7/2 night. BC Exclusive. This was interesting, Iwako chairman and BC chairman both went out in Tokyo searching through many donut and pastry shops to study doughnut colors and taking pictures of all sorts of fancy donuts they have in Tokyo, needless to say, they are very different than the American donuts. BC Exclusive.

4 Banana Erasers Will Soon Be 2 Banana Erasers |
Sunday, 04 July 2010 |

The new colors of the bananas will ship from Iwako USA during the week of July 5. We should have them up on the site by Thursday or so. In this release of banana Japanese erasers, there are two new colors for these food erasers, pink and lavender. We will offer them in a Complete Series Set and indvidually. The erasers are made by Dream Zesnsinsyoji.
When IwakoUSA adds new colors to a series of Japanese erasers that have been in inventory for a while, it leads to a quandary. Most of you will already have a yellow banana Japanese eraser, and maybe even the green banana eraser as well. The master boxes we get from Iwako contain 60 erasers, so we should get 15 of each color. Everybody is going to want the pink and lavender banana Japanese erasers and of course, these will sell out very quickly. As a retailer, this leads to the quandary. In order to replenish the out of stock pink and lavender banana Japanese erasers, we need to order more, but we have hardly sold any of the yellow and green banana Japanese erasers. We are, after all a business, and we need to sell all of our inventory, not just parts of it. This is why you will see that we are out of stock of added new colors of existing Japanese erasers. The fuschia bird is another example. |

How To Make 2 Hamster Japanese Erasers Into 3 |
Friday, 02 July 2010 |

Iwako USA has made two series of hamster Japanese erasers. This makes it possible to make some unique hamster erasers. By taking apart a Series 1 Pink and White Hamster and a Series 2 White and Pink Hamster and recombining the parts, you can create a all pink hamster.
When you combine the left over parts, you get a all white hamster Japanese eraser.

Yellow Hamster Japanese Erasers in Lulu's Ears |

We could not think of a better use for the Iwako Japanese Hamster erasers than mounting them on earbuds. Besides, we know that almost nobody who collects Japanese erasers actually erasers with them. For some, that would be sacrilege. If nobody is erasing with them, then they can be in our ears.
There are no plans to produce these, but if you would be interested in them, let us know at
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
. Maybe we can get Iwako USA to make them.

Matt's Epic Series 1 and 2 Hamster Eraser Set |
Thursday, 01 July 2010 |
Matt's Epic Series 1 and 2 Hamster Eraser Set is named after Matt, who thought up this set for us to put together.
This set of Japanese erasers allows you to make unique combinations of these animal erasers. Notice that in the Series 1 Hamster Japanese Erasers, their bellies are all white. For the Series 2 Hamster Japanese Erasers, the bellies are many different colors. This allows you to create solid color Hamster erasers.
For example, you can make a solid green, purple, blue or pink Hamster Japanese erasers. |
