The "The Adventures of Tintin. The Black Island", first appeared as a weekly strip in Le Petit Vingtième. The Dewoitine D-27 was red. Herge then changed the color of the Dewoitine D-27 from red to grey and black for the monochrome book of the Black Island published in 1938. 

Thomson or Thompson, waves his cane in fury, as the Dewoitine flies overhead. 

Constructed of metal and ABS. 90mm (3.5") tall and 136mm (5.4") long.
