We were wondering why Iwako and Zensinsyoji make so many dessert erasers. If you have been reading about the Japanese eraser manufacturing process, it is expensive to produce a new mold.  Iwako makes 3 types of round cakes with frosting and at least 6 cut cakes and pies along with all the other types of  Japanese dessert erasers. 9 colors of the biscuit eraser!  Is the Iwako offices near a cluster of bakeries, or do the owners just have an intense craving for baked confections?
