While wandering the high-security Sprodj Atomic Research Centre, the Captain’s characteristic impatience gets the better of him. Intent on finding Professor Calculus, he ignores the literal signs around him, leans directly into a freshly coated corridor wall, and emerges looking more like an abstract modernist canvas than a seafaring mariner. To add insult to injury, the wet paint causes the literal "Attention Peinture Fraîche" ("Attention Fresh Paint") warning sign to stick directly to his back. By the time he storms into Calculus's office to complain, the sign has been transferred to his front—leaving him to reluctantly carry the warning for everyone else to see. The resulting look—a brilliant, unfortunate block of solid red paint perfectly framing his outraged expression—is captured here in all its comedic glory.
