Le Petit Vingtieme and Tintin in the Land of the Soviets

Le Petit Vingtieme and Tintin in the Land of the Soviets

In 1925, the 18 year old Herge came to work at the Belgian newspaper, Le Vingtieme,.as a simple clerk and then rising to art director and illustrator for the newspaper. In 1925, the weekly youth supplement, Le Petit Vingtieme, was started with Herge as editor. Four years later, the panels of Herge's first Tintin work appeared in those same pages, Tintin in the Land of the Soviets.
The theme of the 2016 Tintin calendars will feature the panels of Tintin in the Land of the Soviets, Tintin in America and other works that appeared in Le Petit Vingtieme.
We will have most of all the Moulinsart Tintin 2015 collection in the store and on sausalitoferry.com when they become available this summer.
