In The Adventures of Tintin, Tintin, The Castafiore Emerald, the book opens with Tintin and Capt. Haddock at his Marlinspike Estate. Capt. Haddock has received a letter from the opera diva, Bianca Castafiore announcing her imminent arrival for a stay at Marlinspike for rest and peace. Haddock, seeing that his own peace and quiet will come to an abrupt end, plans to abandon Marlinspike with his usual blustering outburst. Snowy and Haddock’s Siamese cat watch with amusement. The figures are hand painted cold cast resin. This is a numbered series, but the certificate is missing from the box.  The Snowy figure is 3.5” tall, 3.25” wide and 3” deep and the cat is of proportional size. By Moulinsart, maker of all things Tintin.
