The Prototype C.48 from "Jo, Zette, Jocko and Mr. Pumps Legacy"

Herge created Jo, Zette and Jocko comic that was aimed for a younger audience than The Adventures of Tintin. It never reached the vast worldwide popularity of Tintin and only four books of The Adventures of Jo, Zette and Jocko were completed. 

Herge in Mr. Pumps Legacy, Herge modeled the C.48 airplane from the Howard DGA-4 plane which appeared in The Black Island. 

Zette stands at the base of the model. 

The plane is 104mm (4.1") tall and 155mm (6.1") long. Constructed of ABS and metal.
