Tintin and Snowy In Tibet Land Colouring Book.

On the roof of the world Tintin in Tibet, the twentieth episode of The Adventures ofTintin, is an extraordinary story. In the pages of this adventure, there are no police cases to solve or mysteries to unravel, no treasures to be discovered or bandits to defeat. Here, Herge reveals another side of his talent as a storyteller with this powerful tale set against the majestic backdrop of the Himalayan peaks and the Tibetan plateau. Tintin sets out to find Chang, who went missing after a plane crash. Faith can move mountains, but so can deep friendship. The hero is convinced that he will find the young Chinese man he met while fighting opium traffickers in The Blue Lotus. Tintin in Tibet, originally serialized in the Belgian edition of Tintin magazine from 17th September 1958 to 25th November 1959, was published in 1960 as a handsome hardback edition with a yellow cloth spine. Yellow like Chang's lost scarf, blown away in a violent snowstorm, yellow also like the headpieces of Tibetan monks or the ornaments on their imposing Dung Chen . Herge's vibrant palette includes saffron red, fuchsia, shades of blue, white, alabaster, opal. Subtle shades of grey and charcoal black and many other touches of gouache, watercolour and deco line bring these images vividly to life.
