Herge modeled the car after the Amil C6 made in France in the late 1920s. In the Land of the Soviets, Herge's first book published in 1930, he begins his fascination with accurately drawing all the forms of transportation that Tintin will use in his adventures.
The ceramic mug is microwave safe. 11cm (4.3") wide, 8 cm (3.1") across and 9.5 cm (3.75") high.
